I wrote these lyrics, more as a rap, after my highschool girlfriend and I broke up for the last time! It why we kept getting back together year after year until I was 21! We loved eachother so much, but it just didn't work, no matter what we tried, we wanted different things, so we made our final goodbyes. Months maybe a year later I litterally mumbled this to myself one night out at a show, 'I look for your eyes in every crowd, but they're no where to find'. She had beautiful eyes. I came home and paired the hook with these rap lyrics I wrote previously, and made a track.

I made this beat using a Tascam 16 track and Allen Stone's, my roomate at the time, keyboard. The keyboard only had about 8 sounds, which i think you might hear all 8 on this track! The beat is being played live and unlooped on an electric drum kit by Larry Blake, drummer of Del Smpl Wait, and about 30 other bands! I arranged, mixed, and produced the track myself.
